  • Route 4 West to Van Brunt St. Exit (Englewood)
  • Go straight on Van Brunt St. to second light
  • Turn Left onto Englewood Avenue
  • Mackay Park is on the Left
  • Arena is 1/4 mile into Mackay Park

From New Jersey:

  • Take 1-80 East to I-95 East (stay in local lanes)
  • Go East on I-95 (local lanes) to Exit 71: Broad Avenue
  • Go North on Broad Avenue for 1/2 mile
  • Turn Left onto Van Nostrand Avenue and go 1/4 mile
  • Turn Right on Grand Avenue North and go 3/4 mile
  • Turn Left onto Englewood Avenue and go 1-1/4 mile
  • Mackay Park is on the Left
  • Arena is 1/4 mile into Mackay Park

      • Take Verrazano Narrows Bridge to Bayonne Bridge
      • Take Kennedy Blvd. Exit after Bayonne Bridge and bear Left.
      • Follow Kennedy Avenue Blvd to 27th Street
      • Turn Left onto Kennedy Avenue
      • Drive 1 block to Avenue A
      • Turn Right onto Avenue A
      • Turn Left at light onto 28th Street (entrance to Bayonne High School)
      • Entrance to the Richard L. Korpi Ice Rink is on the Right, just past the tennis courts
      • Parking is opposite, up the hill

From Manhattan:

    • Holland Tunnel to NJ Turnpike/Route 78 West (Newark-Bay Extension)
    • Route 78 West to Exit 14A: 53rd Street at Avenue E
    • Stay to the Left after the tolls
    • Turn Right onto 29th Street (past Medical Center)
    • Drive to the end
    • Turn Left onto Avenue A
    • Turn Right at first light onto 28th Street (entrance to Bayonne High School)

About the Blades

The Brooklyn Blades Ice Hockey Club is a volunteer-run program that has been running community ice hockey programs in the NYC area since 1992.The Women’s program consists of a National D Level Travel Team. We play approximately 16 games against local women’s teams located in Long Island, Westchester County and northern New Jersey, with our home ice located at the Richard L. Korpi rink at the Bayonne High School, in Bayonne NJ.
