The Brooklyn Blades Ice Hockey Club is a volunteer-run,
not-for-profit corporation that has been running community ice hockey programs in New York City since 1992.
The Women's Program has a B and C level Travel Team.
REGISTRATION IS NOW OPEN!!!
The Travel Teams play approximately 16 games
against area women's and girls' teams. Practice is about twice a month
from mid-September through March for a total of about 12 practices. The
teams end their season with a trip to the International Women's Hockey Tournament in
Brampton, Ontario, Canada. The 2003-2004 Blades team won Gold in the Senior
Rec division.
The B travel team is made up of the city's top players, some of whom
have collegiate experience. A minimum of 3 years of hockey experience is
required. The C travel team is made up of players with a minimum of 1 year ice hockey experience.
All of the women's programs are open to females age 14 and up. Younger
girls should join our Youth Programs.
